First quarter of 2024 will see Itoh Denki exhibit at both SITL and LogiMAT, with exclusive innovations for conveying and sortation.
It’s been a busy year at Itoh Denki and things show no sign of slowing down as we enter 2024.
The trade show season will begin again in earnest and this year, two of the key events at which we traditionally have a presence will actually run concurrently.
SITL – short for ‘Salon International du Transport et de la Logistique’ – and LogiMAT, the leading international trade show for intralogistics solutions and process management, will both welcome visitors from 19th to 21st March in Paris and Stuttgart respectively.
Taking place in Hall 7 at Paris Nord Villepinte, SITL is the largest show of its kind held in France. As well as domestic visitors, its list of international delegates is growing each year. Each time we’ve exhibited, the event has proved highly valuable in reinforcing existing contacts and forging new partnerships. This year you can find us on stand J086.
A truly global event, LogiMAT will see more than 1,500 companies showcase their latest innovations across no fewer than 10 halls at Stuttgart Messe.
More than 62,000 visitors from 90 countries walked the halls at last year’s event, making it not just one of the biggest shows in this sector in Europe in this sector, but in the world.
The theme for this year’s LogiMAT event is ‘Shaping Change Together’ – and it’s one that really resonates with us as we’ll be showcasing major innovations on stand 1K25 that will bring new opportunities for efficiency and flexibility across a broad range of application.
Among the new products we’ll display the M-RAT is a highly innovative new diverter and sorter module, which we’ve developed in response to burgeoning demands from customers globally for systems which can cope with heavier products.
Drawing on the same acclaimed 24V DC powered technologies which form the heart of our F-RAT compact 90° diverter and sorter module for the precise positioning of smaller loads, M-RAT will be able to handle individual loads of up to 250kg.
This will provide greater flexibility for specifiers and designers needing to move heavier loads who have previously had to rely on pneumatically powered systems which bring very specific challenges around commissioning, maintenance and safety.
Also on show will be a prototype of FNR, a new MDR-powered conveyor module which transfers loads on an innovative patented bed comprising plastic wheels. Offering a great alternative to traditional belt conveyors when handling small items, FNR is a highly cost-efficient solution boasting supreme safety, near-silent operations and very low maintenance.
The prototype on display will demonstrate how FNR can be used in a singulation application, accumulating and singulating small individual packets of sweets.
Having two of our biggest shows running simultaneously presents its own challenges to us as a business. But with a strong team across Europe, we’ll have knowledgeable colleagues on hand throughout both events to demonstrate our technical capabilities.
If you’re planning to be at either event, make sure you drop by our stand – a warm welcome is assured !
